Pullman Civic Theater (PCT) will be hosting auditions for “Peter Pan” on May 23 and 24 at The Gladish Center, at 6 p.m., at 115 NW State.

It’s been three years, because of Covid, since PCT has been able to have their annual summer children’s show and they are excited to bring “Peter Pan” back to the stage. Director Penny Gonzales, a veteran children’s director, has selected a script true to J.M Barrie’s original novel.

Rehearsals for this delightful timeless classic will begin the following week, though Gonzales promises to work around potential summer conflicts for those considering being a part of the show.

Though the cast will be focused on those 18 and younger, the theatre would be happy to have older volunteers to assist with costumes, props, staging – everything that goes into helping to make the magic happen.

Gonzales enjoys working with everyone – those who have experience, and those who have never stepped on a stage but would like to try.

Audition forms will be available at www.pullmancivictheatre.org/auditions. Forms can also be completed at auditions.

The show will take to the Nye Street stage on July 29-31 and Aug. 4-7.
