Parker Brown scored 10 of Timberline’s 12 points in overtime to take down St. John Bosco in an Idaho Class 1A Division II District I elimination game at Lapwai High School and earn its fourth consecutive state tournament berth on Friday, Feb. 24.
Brown paced the Spartans (12-10) with a game-high 25 points. Gavin Christopherson added 11.
“We were picked to finish last in our league,” Timberline coach Jason Hunter told the Lewiston Tribune, “so for us to go out and win like this was pretty exciting.”
