Now is your chance to learn to play Pickleball!

There will be a free learn to play Pickleball class on July 30 from 6-8 p.m. and a Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, July 31 starting at 8 a.m. at the Orofino Tennis/Pickleball Courts. The tournament is a fun, non-sanctioned, doubles tournament for ages 12 and up. Skill levels will be Novice (2.5-3.0), 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 plus. Registration is $20 per person and all proceeds will go to the Orofino High School Tennis Team.

If you are interested in Pickleball and would like to learn how to play, the free clinic on Friday, July 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. will be taught by Collin Fehr EdD, CMPC, CSCS. Collin is a certified Tennis and Pickleball Professional who has teaching experience across a wide spectrum.

Over the years he has taught at nationally recognized resorts, coached NCAA Division 1 tennis players, led park and recreational programs, coached high school teams, and in recent years has been the head tennis/pickleball professional for the Sun Valley Resort located in Sun Valley, Idaho. Off court, Dr. Fehr works as an Assistant Professor at Lewis-Clark State College.

Loaner paddles are available for the clinic and tournament.
