Orofino’s Grace Beardin and Council’s McKayla Hart received the All-Star Award for their games in the Lapwai Wildcat Shootout.
Friday, Dec. 9 the Lady Maniacs faced off against the Kendrick Tigers in a tournament hosted by Lapwai. For the third time in less than a month, the Kendrick Tigers were able to defeat the Lady Maniacs in a non league matchup, this time 49-36.
Kendrick used a 17-0 first quarter to take charge of the game but Orofino put up a fight outscoring the Tigers in two of the final three quarters.
