Congratulations to KLER’s Timberline Spartan Pizza Factory Player of the Game winner from Friday night’s state play-in game vs. Dietrich: Chase Hunter!

Hunter shined on the gridiron on both sides of the ball against an excellent opponent, starting the game off hot with a 60-yard catch and run on a pass from QB Rylan Larson to put the Spartans inside the 10-yard line on their opening drive-- though they were unable to capitalize on the scoring opportunity.

Chase was Larson’s favorite target, ripping off several nice gains before Rylan was knocked out of the game with an injury just before half. Hunter further proved his versatility by stepping in at quarterback in the second half, performing admirably.

Chase played with heart all the way to the final whistle, even with his team down by an insurmountable margin, and for his exceptional efforts he will receive a certificate good for a personal pizza and a medium soft drink of his choice from our good friends at the Orofino Pizza Factory!
