Timberline’s High School Cross Country team competed in the District I/II 1A meet on Wednesday, Oct. 19 in Lewiston. The team placed 6th in a very competitive field and missed qualifying for state by a mere 19 points. Unfortunately, we were also unable to qualify any individuals missing that target by only two seconds. With only one graduating senior, this team is primed for a successful run at state next season.

Kyd Bonner was the first Spartan to cross the finish line in 19th place. He ran a personal best time of 19:48.  Next across the line in 20th place was Gabe Skinner. He ran a 19:56.  Freshman, Devyn Sparrow, also ran a personal best time (21:35) and finished in 30th.  The fourth Spartan was Justice Richardson who ran a 21:51 placing 32nd. In his first district meet, Wyatt Traylor ran a 46 second personal best time of 22:26 finishing 35th.  Finally, senior Isaish Wisher crossed the finish line in 49th place running a 27:15.
