The 91st Hoards Dairy Judging Contest results have been announced.  The contest features five classes of dairy cattle for youth to judge from pictures. This year the classes were Brown Swiss, Holstein, Red and White, Ayrshire, and Jersey cows. Our top local score was Jenna Smathers with a score of 416! Way to go Jenna!

Top Cloverbud (ages five to eight) score was Keira Hammons. Second place was Parker Sartini. Third place was Silas Sholar.  Other cloverbuds earning great scores were Brantley Easom, Levi VanBrunt, and Reece Bruce. Top Junior (ages nine-eleven) score was Allie Sholar. Second place was Davis Sartini. Third place was Joseph Condor.Other juniors earning blue ribbons were Kate Sholar, Evan Page, Miya Hammons, and Savannah Crockett.  

Top Intermediate (age 12-13) score was Jenna Smathers. Second place was James McIver. Third place was Declan Crockett. Top Senior (ages 14-18) score was Jil Brown. Second place was Alia Coil-Defoe. Third place was Connor Potratz.  Top Adult judging locally was Sarah Frye.
