The Maniacs won the 2A District I-II Softball tournament Thursday, May 9, in Orofino, qualifying them for State with a 13-9 win over the St. Maries Lumberjacks in the championship game. This was the Lady Maniacs sixth time in eight years for accomplishing this feat.
