Orofino’s Brayden Turcott pitched a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts and one walk on Saturday, March 27, against Priest River on the Maniacs’ home field. Orofino beat Priest River 4-0 for a three-game sweep of a nonleague baseball series.
Orofino’s Brayden Turcott had two triples and a double while Orofino didn’t make any errors as the Maniacs shut out Priest River in a doubleheader 10-0 and 20-0 on Friday, March 26 in Orofino.
The Gun Club had a good turn out on the March 27, .22 rifle shoot, with about 20 shooters. The weather was almost warm, but the wind was blowing. We had shooters from northern Idaho shoot again. Everyone had a good time. The next 22 long rifle shoot will be on April 24.

Orofino won a nonleague doubleheader against the Bonners Ferry Badgers on Friday, March 19, on the Maniacs’ homefield. Pitching for the Maniacs were Jaron Christopherson and Rylan Larson. Christopherson had six strikeouts in six innings in Game 1, while Larson struck out 10 in Game 2.

The Timberline Spartans played their first game at State in the 1A Division II classification on Wednesday, March 3 at Caldwell High School against the Richfield Tigers. Timberline fought a great battle to the end, with a final score of 53 for Richfield, 52 for Timberline.
The Orofino/Pierce Gun Club had their biggest weekend of the year hosting area shooters at the Gavin Ehlinger/Don Rayner Memorial Trap Shoot and shooting in the ninth week of the Camas Prairie 10 Week Shoot.

Chase Hunter passed to Rylan Larson for an inside basket with seconds remaining to give Timberline a win in a Class 1A Division II district tournament game against Kendrick on Saturday, Feb. 20 on the Spartans’ home court. This victory earned the Spartans their spot in the winners’ bracket final.
