Rain drops appeared to dance across the streets from the strong winds that accompanied last week’s storm on Wednesday, June 26. Many weather alerts were sent out through different media sources earlier in the day. The reports were accurate, with strong winds, heavy rain and hail hitting the area Wednesday evening. Gutters and drains were unable to keep up with the precipitation that accumulated in a short time, causing standing water and pools on the streets, including Main Street, in front of the Clearwater Tribune office.
