Juanita “Kay” Fisher passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at her home in Pierce, Idaho.
Kay was born in Boise, Idaho on Dec. 2, 1937. She was the only daughter of Gordon and Virginia “Ginny” Davis.
Kay started her career in 1970 at Data IO for Nasa Space Shuttle. She worked her way up to Data Quality Supervisor, up until they closed in the early 90’s.
After that Kay bartended throughout the Northwest. She was even known to throw a few special people out of the bar in her time.
March 3rd, 1994, Kay married the love of her life, Tom Fisher. She enjoyed fishing with Tom and Jackson, camping, side by side riding with family and friends and cooking.
The last couple of years she was able to have several camping adventures with her son Rick. She loved to cook for our holiday gatherings at the Fisher shop.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Tom Fisher of Pierce, Idaho; daughter Janice Arnett of Kirkland, WA; son Jim Hall of Kirkland; son Rick Hall of Pierce; daughter Vicki Eppig of Monroe, WA; stepchildren, Bobbie (Doug) Grovom of Lenore, Idaho; Kathy (Lynn) White of Lewiston, Sherrie (Jerry) Wassmuth, of Lewiston; Roger (Rhonda) Leder of Lewiston; Bill (Judy) Fisher of Vancouver, WA; Kim (Scott) Herzog of Lewiston; Russell Fisher of West Virginia and Madra Fisher of Huntington, W.V.
She had 20 grandchildren and multiples of great grandchildren, and cousin Sharon Jarvi Townsand of Clarkston, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and the father of her children, Fred Hall.
We all loved and thought of her as “Miss Kay”.
In celebration of Kay Fisher’s life there will be a potluck at the Pierce Community Center from 12 noon to 3 p.m., Saturday July 11.
