Cheryl Ann Jenks, 62, of Ahsahka, passed away peacefully January 9, 2021 due to complications from Covid-19. She was born February 8, 1958 in Newport, WA to Bob and Clara Davaz.
She met the love of her life, Emery Jenks, and got married June 16, 1973. They were married for 47 years.
Cheryl loved spending time with her family. She loved working in the yard on different projects and helping others with theirs. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend and housekeeper. She loved baking and was an amazing cook. She loved camping and fishing with her husband, Emery.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Emery Jenks of 47 years, daughter Angela Carver, son-in-law Rick Carver and grandson Trevor Carver; daughter Emerald Jenks, grandson Dante Lauby; son Jr Jenks, daughter-in-law Catrina Jenks, granddaughter, Holly Jenks, grandson Bryer Jenks; brother Bobby Davaz; sister Mary Jo Davaz and many more loved ones that she loved deeply.
Cheryl worked various jobs from the Woodlot for her parents, clipping fish for the Idaho Fish and Game for seven years, CVH for 13 years and finished her career at Hammerdown Wood Products.
