Albert Valentine Rebel was 84, he passed away on Sept. 24, 2020 at Clearwater Valley Hospital in Orofino, Idaho.
He was born July 15, 1936 to Marie Alpert, (mother) and Valentine A. Rebel (Father) in Stark, North Dakota. He had two brothers and five sisters, born in Richardton, N.D.
His mother passed when he was young.
He attended rural schooling when not needed on the farm.
He married his true love, Geraldine Metzger Rebel, on March 29, 1958. They were together 57 years. Together they have six children, 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild is on the way.
He worked farming until he gained employment for a brickyard.
In 1967 the family visited Idaho, at which time he gained employment at Jay-pee plant in Pierce, a job he held until 1997 when he retired.
A loyal husband, family man and good all-around handyman, he enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, mechanical work and welding. He would normally be outdoors from dawn ‘til dusk fixing something or doing various chores around the property.
Preceding him in death were his parents, sisters, wife, daughter, Clara, and granddaughters, Savannah and Sueann.
Surviving family members include sons Calvin, Clinton, and Corey, daughters Connie and Colette, brothers Frank and Richard Rebel, and many other loving family members.
Due to Covid we are hoping to have a celebration of life at a later time.
