Weippe Hilltop Museum is having its first bake food sale of the year at the museum, April 19, Good Friday, 10 - 4. Come get some goodies for Easter weekend. We will also start to sell our tickets for our annual raffle. We have 30 or so items to raffle off that have been donated by local businesses. The drawing will be May 26 over Memorial Day weekend when the Museum opens for the 2019 season. We have many restaurants in the Pierce and Orofino that have donated dinners and free night stays at  local establishments, massages, haircuts both men and women, gift cards for grocery food stores, case of oil, free oil changes, 50 pounds of premium dog to name a few of the raffle items. Get your tickets $1 each or six for $5. Ask a Museum staff member for more info. You do not have to be present to win.

Genealogy has come to the Hilltop ...

April 25 at 1 p.m. we will have a genealogy meeting at the Museum. Tammy Trib will be there to help anyone research their ancestry. Tammy is very knowledgeable and helped many hilltop people with their research.  Anyone wanting to find out about your ancestry or just want to observe, you are welcome to come and enjoy and learn. Call Tammy at (208) 435-4639 for more info.

April 24, Wednesday at the Museum 11 a.m. This will be our last one until October. We have a fun time, laughs and lots of yummy snacks to munch on while we play. Come join us.

The staff are working on the exhibits at the Museum for our May opening.  We have selected the Heywood family for our pioneer spotlight this year. We have some neat items to share, thanks to Earl, Patty and Dorothy Heywood.

Spring is coming, flower are blooming, birds are chirping and lots of earthworms from the rain. Enjoy!

See you at the Bake food sale, Bunko and Genealogy meeting...
