The Weippe Hilltop Museum is still open until end of October, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday noon to 4 p.m. Stop by and see our displays and visit with our staff, pick up a t-shirt or mug or a 2020 Veterans calendar to keep it simple all the prices are $10 each.
Frank Smith is a super supporter of the Weippe Museum. He was the first customer at our bake food sale. Thanks Frank!
A couple of young visitors from Lewiston, Katee and Dylon Miller, enjoyed the vintage camera display. They had lots of questions and Sally Marks explained and enjoyed talking with them about the displays throughout the Museum.
We love having kids come in and visit us and show them what their parents and grandparents or great-grandparents enjoyed as children. Many have relations in our Family History books or the Weippe High School Displays and Annuals.
We love explaining or discussing our displays with all our visitors.
Come in and see the “Heywood Family Pioneer Spot Light Display” for this year. It will be taken down at the close of the season and another family will be honored. If you have missed the previous pioneer displays we have them in a flip board to continue enjoying. The past honorees are Eva and Fred Wolfe, Gordon and Alice (Wilson) Hueth and the Heywood family will be added.
The area “Lookout Display” on loan from Michal Beck will only be here until end of October, stop in and enjoy our local heritage.
