Our first bake food sale for 2020 will be this Friday, Valentine’s Day, at the Weippe Hilltop Museum starting at 10 a.m. Truckers call 208-435-4200 and we will meet you on Hwy 11 corner in Weippe and deliver to you.

We are now starting our 2021 calendar to have ready for sale at Hilltop Historical Days (old Camas Festival) The name was changed last year at Camas Festival, which has been discontinued. We took suggestions for a new name, Several names were submitted and we took a vote. Hilltop Historical Days received the most popular vote. It was a fun time, maybe some of you remember suggesting names and voting.

The 2021 calendar will be BRAG CALENDAR. We need your help. Bring in photos of your past or current deer, elk, moose, fishing, hunting camps. pack teams from years ago before ATV’s, turkey, pheasants, or duck trophy photos.

You may call Sally at 208 435-4346 to arrange for them to be picked up. We will need them by April 1 to get the calendar together and to the printer in time for our opening May 22. Dig out those trophy photos and be in the calendar to brag to your friends and family.  Hope to hear from you soon. 

We still have some 2020 Hilltop Hero’s  calendars honoring our hilltop Veterans. Price is $10. Give us a call and we can get you one. There is one at the Weippe Post Office for you to see.

Lifetime Pioneer Spotlight for 2020 was voted by the board  to honor Bertha Carr/ Harold and Alice Fidler family. Bertha Carr Fidler Homesteaded on Three Mile Road in 1900. Bertha moved from West Virginia in 1898. Fidler Road was named after the Fidler Family. When it was named the Fidler’s - Alice and Harold Fidler’s property was the only family that backed up to Fidler Road. Come and see the exhibit in May.

I am working on the yearly newsletter which will be coming soon to members. New members are always welcome to join, Cost is $12 individual, family $20 and Lifetime $100. We now have 60 Lifetime members.   Thank you everyone for your support.

We had our budget meeting in January. We did well for 2019 and stayed within the budget. The 2020 budget was approved.

The Museum is getting an inside facelift. We are painting all the walls in the original part. It looks so bright and clean. The task now is to put up new and old displays.

A new display this year will be honoring Timberline High School’s 50th Birthday. 1970-2020. We need your help again, We need any THS memorabilia, annuals, photo’s, cheerleading outfits. You can just loan them to us for this year until October and we will get them back to you or donate them.  We appreciate your help. If we could get an annual for each year that would be great.

We would like to honor each class 1970-2020 with photos of the graduating class.
