Unofficial results for eight contests in the Clearwater County Consolidated Election held Nov. 5, were posted Tuesday evening for the following districts and positions:
Josh Tilley and Jennifer Dunaway were both re-elected to four-year terms on City Council, receiving 276 votes, and 267 votes, respectively. Doug Donner was elected to fill the third council seat with 205 votes. Jon Isbelle followed seven votes behind with 198 votes, Jim Hill received 155 votes and Gerald Guido MacGuffie 70 votes.
Ryan Smathers ran unopposed for a fourth term as Mayor and received 376 votes.
In the City of Elk River, the two open council seats will be filled by newcomer Diana Olson leading with 43 votes, and incumbent Tena Williams, receiving 36 votes. Richard Styre and Ricky Trott received 30 and 29 votes respectively.
The City of Pierce re-elected council members John Stinson and Michael Vaughan, both for four-year terms, with 65 and 71 votes respectively
Kim Ward and Dennis McCollum will each serve two year terms on Pierce City Council with Ward earned 79 votes, McCollum had 68 when the polls closed.
Dominic Consentino ran unopposed for Mayor of Pierce collecting 81 votes.
City of Weippe
Sheila Barteaux ran unopposed for one of two four-year terms open on City Council receiving 30 votes.
School District #171
Trustee for Zone I
Incumbent Sarah Mc Grath, School Trustee for Zone I will relinquish her position to challenger Greg Gerot by 10 votes. As polls closed Tuesday evening, the final tally was 94 to 114 respectively.
Voter turnout of the county’s 2,664 registered voters, 750 ballots were cast.
Election results are unofficial until canvased and the canvas will be on Nov. 12. Election results will be posted to the website.
