Taste of the Clearwater-Shania Rales

Shania Rales

Tickets are still available for the Clearwater valley Hospital Foundation’s Taste of the Clearwater event happening this Saturday, Oct. 12, at the Big Eddy from 3 – 7 p.m. Tickets are for sale at P1FCU or LCCU in Orofino and include six tastes of local beer, wine and appetizers, live and silent auction fun, an opportunity to take in the beautiful fall weather at a picturesque location (fire pits and propane heaters will be on hand to help keep attendees warm) and entertainment by local favorite, Shania Rales.

Many people are familiar with Shania Rales as she is from Orofino and has been singing since she was 10 years old. “My mom is my biggest inspiration for playing music. I play locally around town and have been working on original songs,” says Rales.

“We are very excited to have Shania play at this event for the second year in a row,” says Ashley Steinbruecker, Foundation Director. “She has an incredible voice and her style of music fits in perfectly with the vibe of this event.” Rales says her musical influences include Matchbox Twenty, The Script, One Republic and John Mayer. You can expect to hear songs by each of those artists and many more at the Taste of the Clearwater.

The Taste of the Clearwater will feature six local vendors including Ronatta’s and Augie’s (Orofino), Moscow Brewing Company (Moscow), Jovinea Cellars (Lenore), Parejas Cellars (Clarkston), Lindsay Creek Vineyards (Lewiston), Hardware Brewing Co. (Kendrick) and food by Superior Events (Grangeville) to offer selections of their beer, wine and food.

“Dress in some cozy fall attire, grab your friends and come join us at this super fun event in a beautiful setting!” says Lenne Bonner, CEO and Taste of the Clearwater Committee member. “The proceeds of this event will go towards programs, services and equipment for Clearwater Valley Hospital and Clinics that may not have received funding otherwise. We really appreciate everyone who comes out to support these events and are very grateful for our sponsors as well.”

Thank you to our Platinum Sponsors, Life Flight Network, our Gold Sponsors, Pathologists’ Regional Laboratory, our Silver Sponsors, Kootenai Health and P1FCU, and our Bronze Sponsors, Edward Jones, DEBCO and Simmons NADL.
