The Idaho Association of Counties, Association of Idaho Cities, Association of Idaho Highway Districts and the Idaho School Boards Association recently launched an educational platform to help Idahoans understand what local governments do, it’s called Keep It Local Idaho. To help people better understand how property taxes are calculated, what new construction is, how home values work, and other subjects, the Keep It Local Idaho Committee’s goal is to clear up confusion on these issues.

Keep It Local Idaho Facebook and Twitter pages were launched, in addition to a Youtube channel. A new video will be released each week to explain different aspects of how local governments work.
