Clearwater Valley Health Foundation’s annual fundraiser, the Moonlight Ball, will be held on Saturday, March 18, at the Best Western Plus Lodge at River’s Edge. Attendees can expect a delicious catered dinner, exciting silent and live auctions featuring esteemed Auctioneer, Darren Arave, entertainment by popular local classic rock band, Vintage Youth, and an opportunity to help raise money for a very worthy cause.
“Funds raised at the Moonlight Ball will go towards helping us with the purchase of a Mammography Truck of our own,” says Lenne Bonner, CEO, Clearwater Valley Health. ”Having our own Mammography Truck will help us as we strive to keep patients close to home for as many services as possible. Under our current contracted mammography service, it can be quite a challenge to ensure access to timely and convenient mammograms.
“In short, this service does not meet the needs of our patients, as we are unable to secure an adequate number of days and appointment slots. Due to numerous challenges such as competing priorities and weather, the schedule often changes and entire mammography days are cancelled.
“To help us make access to life-saving mammograms easier for our community members and to be part of this fun and exciting event, get your tickets today! Event organizers have been hard at work coming up with exciting vacation packages and handmade décor items that will be up for live and silent auction at the event. “Our ever-popular Life Flight Lifetime Membership will be offered once again as well as one or two new packages that we haven’t seen before!” says Shawna Altmiller, CVH Foundation Board Chair and Moonlight Ball Committee Member.
