Ahsahka fire

A travel size trailer in a private park off Northfork Dr. in Ahsahka was destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon.

Local firefighters fought two fires on Sunday, April 25, with fires in the Lakeview area and Ahsahka.

A fire call came early Sunday to 622 Scenic Drive for Twin Ridge Fire District (TRFD) personnel.

Chief Glenn Crockett reported the call came in as an ADT smoke alarm. They were able to get the fire out quickly and there was no structure damage. There was damage to furnishings. There were no injuries. Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) is investigating the cause.

In addition to TRFD, Orofino Fire Department, Clearwater County Ambulance Service (CCAS) and CCSO assisted at the scene.

A travel size trailer in a private park off Northfork Drive in Ahsahka was destroyed by fire Sunday afternoon. The trailer was fully involved when the call came in. The Red Cross has been notified and is assisting the owner, according to Orofino Fire Chief Jonathan Hoyt.

The fire will be investigated by a state fire marshal.

In addition to Orofino Fire Department, CCSO and CCAS assisted at the scene.
