The “Guns and Hoses” Bowl-off fundraiser for the Clearwater Valley Fire Districts Auxiliary (CVFDA) scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 24 at Riverside Lanes has been postponed because of safety concerns over COVID-19. The new date for this fundraiser has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 14.

Interested bowlers are encouraged to sign up anytime at Riverside Lanes. All other information remains the same as listed below.

Like to bowl and want to support CVFDA at the same time? A bowling fundraiser to benefit CVFDA will take place at Riverside Lanes on Sunday, March 14. The bowling alley will open at 11 a.m. for those wishing to grab a great burger before bowling in the CVFDA’s Guns and Hoses Bowl-off fundraiser.

There will be a total of six teams with three teams each for the Guns and Hoses, and each team will be captained by a Sheriff or Firefighter with three additional bowlers per team.

Due to COVID restrictions, team size is limited so each bowler will be required to have a minimum of $40 worth of sponsor fees to enter, so get your friends to support you with donations for this very worthy cause.

There will be many nice prizes from local merchants for the bowlers. You don’t have to be a good bowler to participate and more information will be coming in the next couple of weeks. Please help us help our fire districts!

All donations are gratefully accepted. Questions, contact Pam White at 208-435-4612. The purpose of the CVFDA is to provide support, promote and aid for all the fire districts of the Clearwater Valley by engaging in fundraising activities which enable financial distribution to the fire districts.

Clearwater Valley Fire Districts Auxiliary is also available during fire incidents to help supply water and food for the crews as they battle our area wildland and structure fires.
