The Clearwater County Fair Board has decided to go ahead with this year’s Fair planning and to ‘Do the Fair’. Yes, it will be different without Orofino Lumberjack Days participation and, yes, all of us in Clearwater County need to be very careful.

If you are interested in reserving a fair booth to advertise a business, special event, organization, hobby, community information and more, please contact Cynthia Hedden at 208-476-3234 as soon as possible. There are several sizes of booths available—shallow walk-in, deep walk-in, shelf, several double booths and most have a power outlet. The Exhibit Building will be open on Wednesday, Sept. 15, noon to 8 p.m. for booth decorating as well as Thursday, Sept. 16, noon to 8 p.m.

Do you have items you have made, photos you have taken, paintings and drawings, fruits and vegetables you have grown, flowers and floral arrangements, knit or crocheted something, canned and so much more? You will be able to enter the items on Thursday, Sept. 16, noon to 8 p.m. Judging of the items will happen in the morning on Friday, Sept. 17. Items made in 2020 or 2021 will be accepted for entry and judging at this year’s fair.

It’s time to find your copy of the 2021 fair book for entering information. If you would like to fill out the exhibitor cards early for your fair entries, the exhibitor cards can be picked up at the Extension Office.

There will be sanitizing stations in the Exhibit Building, mask wearing will be encouraged but will not be mandatory. Social distancing will also be encouraged.
