The parish of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church has enjoyed a warm relationship with the Orofino community over the past decades, being a welcoming host to many groups, and especially the multi faith musical cantatas that have performed twice a year since the completion of the Little Flower Room.

The Women of St. Theresa’s have gladly hosted the post-concert receptions ever since the beginnings of the cantata over the years, and with these thoughts of so many familiar friends, a hearty invitation is extended to all those who have attended the many functions held at St. Theresa’s to join the Catholic community for the 35th anniversary of the new church building. which was dedicated on Dec. 5, 1985.

The anniversary was actually a year ago but Covid got in the way so the celebration was postponed.

The celebratory dinner, to which friends of St. Theresa’s are invited, will commence at noon. Sunday, Dec. 5, in the Little Flower Room. An entree of brined pork loin with apples as well as mashed potatoes and gravy will be provided, and attendees are asked to bring side dishes and dessert.

Guests are asked to call Kathy Krawiec at the parish office during morning hours by Wednesday, Dec. 1, if they plan to attend, Her number is 208-476-5121. Parishioners are asked to sign up after Mass this weekend, Nov. 28.

We look forward to seeing parishioners and guests alike as we celebrate 35 years with our “new” church building!
