The 2021 FIRST Lego League (FLL) Season will be a season to remember. The season was definitely not the usual season. COVID restrictions and FIRST season rule changes created a very different season. Clearwater County 4-H had two teams despite the changes.

The teams competed for the robot portion of the season on Feb. 20, in Worley.

Then in the weeks following the robot portion the teams presented their Innovative Project, Core Values and Robot Design Presentation via zoom. Finally, the judges made their decisions; with virtual awards being held April 2.

We send out HUGE Congratulations to Team 44841 – Trio of Amigos for being awarded one of the finalist awards for Core Values!!!!!

Team members were Jameson Endicott, Caden Robinson, and Luke Robinson. The team coach was Charity Robinson. Core Values are discovery, innovation, inclusion, impact, teamwork, gracious professionalism and fun.

We send out a HUGE Congratulations s to Team 38063 – Clearwater Fun Finders for being awarded one of the finalist awards for Innovative Project.

Team members were Davis Sartini, Evan Page, Miya Hammons and Kathryn Sholar. Coaches were Ashley Sartini and Eileen Rowan.

Team 38063 sends a big thanks to Chris St. Germaine for helping them with the business plan for their project of creating a Fun Center for Orofino to provide year round access to exercise for families.

The teams and coaches want to thank our sponsors for their generosity. Our sponsors make the Clearwater Robotics program possible. Sponsors are Idaho Community Foundation, Clearwater County 4-H Leaders Council, Clearwater County Fairboard, VFW, LCCU, Inland Cellular, and the Clearwater Valley Hospital and Clinic. THANK YOU!
