Audrey Jones, 96

Audrey Jean Jones was born in 1922 to John Carl and Mary Em Gillespie at their family home in Lenore. She was five out of eight children.

In 1936 Audrey moved to Lewiston to attend and graduate high school. She married Chester O. Jones on Jan. 20, 1940, in Orofino. Chester passed away in 1987.

Audrey and her husband ran Chet’s Limousine Service in the Orofino area for many years. In 1988 she retired from Vogue as a bookkeeper.

Audrey is a past member of the Soroptomist Club and the Eagles. Her hobbies include crocheting, crossword, and jigsaw puzzles, playing Skipbo, watching the Mariners and Seahawks play and visiting with family and friends.

She has five sons (her eldest Lynn is deceased) and four daughters; 21 grandchildren (two deceased), 47 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren.

Audrey loves having company and friends are invited to call or stop in to help her celebrate.
