Timberline Drama Club presents “Dinner at Eight, Dead by Nine”. Jan. 14, at 6 p.m. at the Timberline Cafeteria. Spaghetti dinner will be provided and tickets are $5 each. See Ms. Garrett or a Drama student for tickets. They are asking that tickets be purchased in advance to have a head count for the dinner portion.
The Junior Class is currently holding a fundraiser! Prizes are a Dyna-Glo Charcoal Grill and a custom fire pit. Tickets sold individually or at basketball games Dec. 16, and Jan. 25. Tickets are $5 for one, or five for $20. Winners will be drawn Jan. 25. Find a Junior and get your tickets folks. They are also selling pizza at home games at Timberline.

Thursday, Jan. 6 – HS Girls BB at St. John Bosco, bus leaves at 2:30 p.m. with game time starting at 6 p.m. HS Boys will travel to Highland HS with bus leaving at 1:30 p.m., JV will start at 4:30, Varsity will start at 7:30 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 7 – HS Boys BB at Deary, bus leaves at 2:30 p.m. with game starting at 6 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 9 – Basketball Open Gym from 4-6 p.m.
Monday, Jan. 10 – HS BBB practice will be at 3:45. The HS Girls BB will travel to Logos school with bus leaving at 2 p.m., game starting at 5 p.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 11 – HS BBB practice will be at 3:45 p.m.

The Faith Lutheran Church’s, “First Sunday Food Box Distribution” continues throughout the winter months, every first Sunday of the month, noon to 12:30 p.m. For emergency boxes please call 208-827-2660.
The next 10-week Fit and Fall Proof Class will begin Jan. 12. This FREE class is offered each Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 a.m. at the Weippe Discovery Center.
Fit and Fall Proof is a program for older adults and focuses on helping folks improve their mobility, balance, and strength. Staying active as we age is an important step in improving our quality of life. These exercise classes provide older adults with a friendly and safe exercise program developed to help reduce the risk of falling. Volunteer leaders teach classes two days a week for 60 minutes.
Sign up packets are available for pick up prior to class at the Center, or arrive early, and you can complete them the day of class. Come and join in the fun and meet new friends. Contact Christine Brown at 208-435-4305 if you have questions or need additional information.
The Timberline Genealogy Society will be having a meeting on the second Tuesday of every month at 1 p.m. at the Weippe Library, downstairs on the lower level.
The Hill Top Senior’s Center in Weippe has meal days on Mondays and Thursdays at noon. This is open to EVERYONE, not just seniors. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Tressa at 208-827-6925.
The Weippe mobile food pantry provides food to those in need each month on the fourth Tuesday of the month. The next food distribution will be Jan. 25.
Pierce Community Center
This Friday, Jan.7, is Skate Night. Skate nights will always take place on the first Friday of each month from 3 p.m.-6 p.m. Come join us from 4-6 p.m. for some rolling skating fun.
With the start of the new year is the start of new activities and return of old ones. We are not only bringing back Skate Night, but we are introducing Movie Night. Movie night, in the gym will be the Jan. 21, and will continue the third Friday of the month from 4-6 p.m. We look forward to bringing these events to our community.
