Timberline Schools

Type one Diabetes is something not many of us are completely aware of. On Nov. 18, Senior Abby Brown, as a part of her Senior Project, held a “THINK BLUE, WEAR BLUE” day at Timberline Schools. Everyone wore blue to represent Type One Diabetes awareness. The entire school, K-12, all participated in the wear blue project. Abby Brown, who was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes as a child, chose making others aware of Type One for her Senior Project.

The school is excited to announce that they will be holding a winter concert for the elementary students on Dec. 14 at 6 p.m. in the Timberline Gymnasium. Students will be wearing some comfortable pajamas and a Christmas hat (i.e., Santa hat, elf ears, reindeer antlers, etc.) for their concert attire. If your child does not have a hat and would like to wear one, please contact Ms. Conder at the school or conderc@jsd171.org.

Also, please try and have your child at the school a half an hour prior to the concert beginning so they can get organized before it starts. They will also have a visit from Santa Claus after the concert and students will have the opportunity to sit and visit with Santa and take pictures with him. They hope you all will be able to come and enjoy their concert and celebrate the Holiday Season.

Timberline Schools is still seeking substitutes!! If you are interested in a position, please contact Jessica Fugate at: fugatej@jsd171.org or 208-476-5593 or PO Box 2259 Orofino, Idaho 83544
