Lessons are a ½ hour each day. If you live in the Weippe Recreation District please look for the sign up at either Timberline Schools or the Discovery Center for FREE Swim and ½ price Swim Lessons!
You must be verified as living in the district and on the list to qualify. And if you have signed up on the Weippe list, you must still call the Pierce Community Center to sign up for Swim Lessons! Please call (208)464-2443 to get on the list and for more information.
Clearwater County Ambulance is in dire need of Emergency Medical Responders (EMR). They hire and train! You can be trained in one month, online class accessible from anywhere; great way to make some extra cash, flexible schedules, High School students qualify, minimum age is 16.
The shifts are 12 hours. They go from 0600 (6 a.m.) to 1800 (6 p.m.) and then 1800-0600. When you sign up for a shift, that means you are on call for that set period of time. You’re responsible to respond to your station within the allotted amount of time and run the call. You will get paid for being on call during those 12 hours. The rate is a flat $10 for the 12-hour period. This is NOT $10 per hour for the 12 hours. It’s $10 for the entire 12 hours. And that’s ONLY if you don’t get a call.
If you DO get a call during your shift, that’s when the $12.66 per hour comes into play. You get that hourly rate with a two-hour minimum and then real time after the first two hours. Meaning, if your call takes you 1.5 hours to complete, you get paid for 2 hours. If it takes 3 hours to complete, you get paid for 3 hours. And finally, if you do get an ambulance call during your shift, that negates the $10 of standby pay.
You won’t get the standby pay, but you will be paid for the hours that you’re on the run, which works out to be more than the standby pay. Please email Molly Stanley for more information at email@example.com .
