Open Mic Night!
Start working on your routine, dust off your dancing shoes and put that poem in your head to paper! As part of the Pierce Winter Festival they will be holding an Open Mic Night on Saturday, Jan. 26 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Pioneer Inn. Come out and share your talents or just be entertained!!!
Talents may include: Poetry, any Music, Story Telling, Comedy, Magic, Hypnosis, Short Skit, etc. If you wish to share your talents, please come and sign up at the door which will open at 6:15 p.m.
This is going to be a family event so please keep performances family appropriate. Performances are limited to 10 minutes each. If time allows, there may be an option for additional performances. All accompaniments must be live. No sound tracks, etc. are allowed. Bring your own instrument, special equipment, etc. A simple sound system with microphones will be supplied. Refreshments will be available. FREE Admission for ALL, including performers and spectators.
Battle of the 6C!
Monday, Jan. 14 will be the make-up game (rescheduled due to a power outage on Dec. 10). The game will be held at Timberline starting at 6 p.m. Come cheer on your favorite Spartans and Maniacs!
Bald Mt Ski Hill
Is Open Saturdays and Sundays! Come hit the family friendly slopes and enjoy our little gem of a Ski Hill. T Bar 50th Birthday Celebration Potluck! Saturday, Jan. 19 at 4 p.m. they will be celebrating 50 years of the T Bar hauling skiers to the top! Come out for some great skiing, bring your stories and join in with some yummy food!
The ski club greatly appreciates the help we get from our local businesses - Maki Manufacturing helps keep our machines functional, CPTPA painted our racks built by Zone Timberline Metal Shop and Finke was there to give our road a wing job during this opening week. We are community all the way- THANK YOU for supporting local/affordable skiing & snowboarding!
The Pierce Recreation District provided 51 Ski Day passes and Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) provided 47 rentals during the 10 day period that Bald Mountain was open during the holiday break.

Elk Snout Eatery
The Elk Snout will be celebrating their one year anniversary on Saturday, Jan. 12 from noon to 3 p.m.
Idaho Youth ChalleNGe Academy (IDYCA)
Class 2019-1 will be starting Jan. 12, Day 0! If you run into any of the future Cadets and their families here in town Friday or Saturday, be sure and wish them well on their 22 week commitment towards making a change in their lives.
Letters of encouragement are always welcome and they will be passed on to those cadets that may not receive mail from home. Results for Jan. 6 were as follows; Timber 1 vs Lucky 1, 10/6 Timbers favor. Elkhorn 1 vs Timber 2, 9/7 Timber 2 favor. Lucky 2 vs Elkhorn 2, 14/2 Lucky 2 favor. Kathy Dill hopes everyone all had as much fun as she did.
Open to the public Friday and Saturday evenings at the Timber Inn starting at 6 p.m. Results for last week are as follows; Friday there were 11 players, the winners were Rich Peterson 1st, Mike Crocker 2nd and Kerrie Willis Crocker 3rd. Good job Kerrie for hanging in there! Saturday night the winners were; Bud Wilson 1st, Alan Mee 2nd and Mike Crocker 3rd. Congratulations Bud you beat Alan! Sorry Alan! Friday, Jan. 4 at the Timber Inn; There were 15 players and lots of fun was had. Mike Crocker 1st, Troy Manz 2nd and Kerrie Willis Crocker 3rd. Good job players! Saturday, Jan. 5 at the Timber Inn they had 16 players and Alan Mee took 1st place, Mike Crocker 2nd and Daniel Willis came in 3rd. Daniel, you did a great job keeping up with the big boys!

Dr. Clayton Bunt: Tuesday, 1/22 and Wednesday, 1/30. Clinic hours are 9 to 4 on dates listed. They are closed for lunch from 12 to 1. Please call (208)464-2578 to make an appointment.
Pierce Community Center and Pool News
Judo will be Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 7. AAU Basketball practice starts Monday and Jr High Volleyball will be starting practice on Jan. 16 from 4-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday.
The Center will be open from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 1 to 6 p.m. on Fridays unless we have skating or an event planned. On Mondays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. we have Yoga classes.
