Movie Night! Pierce GEM Team will be hosting a Community Movie Night this Friday, February 22, at the Pierce Community Center! They will be showing the movie Cars, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The movie will begin at 7. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Concessions will be on sale, and all proceeds go toward more Gem events. We hope to see everyone there!

We also have a challenge for the kids! Create your own car! Take a cardboard box and make it your own car. Shape it or just decorate it, we want to see your creations! There will be one winner who gets free popcorn and a goody! Then you can watch the movie in your own car. Just like a good old drive-in movie with the big screen and all. Judging for the car creations will be around 6:30 p.m., so be early with your car!

The annual Valentines fundraiser our ski hill was a huge success! We are humbled by the support from the business community for donations, volunteers for hours of whistling while they work and thrilled by our silent auction bidders ; $4,000 raised to help with summer projects!!

The Renner’s are always coming up with fun for the kids; this year was snow sled bowling.

Great snow blessed us over the 3 day weekend and Monday a special visit from an ‘ol friend -John Elsbury - on his set ski. We welcomed John & Nancy-Jo back to the Bald Mtn neighbored with hugs and smiles. I’m guessing John’s set ski was a first for the Bald Mtn T Bar. After figuring out the darn attachment contraption John rode to the top with white knuckled ease.
