The groomer had some major problems again the end of January so was not able to run for over a week.

Last week we decided to open up a loop that hadn’t been groomed for a couple years. There is a lot of logging activity up little Beaver Creek so we would ask that you use either Canal Creek or Summit Landing trailheads if you want to check out the route. With the logging activity in this area there are some play areas in the area but beware of hidden stumps.

This week the plan is to do the Rosebud/Hemlock/Beaver Dam area depending on the weather conditions.

Many thanks to all those involved in getting our groomer back together and on the snow especially Bill Maki for beefing up our cross member so hopefully it will not break again.

Please remember to register your snowmobiles in Area 18 so we can provide groomed trails in our area. For further information, weekly details will be added to our Clearwater County Groomer Facebook page as they occur or you may call TC Peterson, chairman at 208-559-4041.
