Dear Editor:

The new skate park is no doubt a good idea but if that can take place why can’t the city spend fifteen hundred dollars to put some rock in the potholes at Heritage Park? Along with old railroad ties and discarded concrete it is almost impassable.

I am not bringing this up because I am the artist of the Proud Heritage Bronze. That sculpture was done to give tribute to the loggers and timber industries that built this community.

It is a disgrace to try to drive up to the park and spend a few moments in silence.
