Dear Editor:

The Orofino Senior Citizens would like to thank all that donated to our yearly “Fun Raiser”, in gifts and ticket sales. We are so sorry we missed everyone at the pancake breakfast and Christmas sale, for we so want to see you all.

Community friends who, even with things so unsure, donated to the raffle include: Orofino Marketplace, Marshal Meats, LCCU, Clearwater Tribune, Happy Day Corp, Primeland, Riverside Physical Therapy, Caliber Coffee, and Augies, and many gifts given by the Senior Citizens themselves, with a total of 37 prizes in all with more than $10.

Winner of the $300 dollar gift to Orofino Marketplace was Kathy Wortman; $50 to Marshall Meats in Winchester is JoAnn Davis; Orofino senior holiday ham meal for six, was Denise, and the Flat Screen TV went to Bonnie Miller. All of the other 34 gifts were delivered to many in our community.

The fund raiser was not as it has been in the past years, but we were so pleased with the support and care from all of you during the past year and we are ready for the day we can all return to the activities that make this town and area of Idaho special.

Merry Christmas to you all, and a Blessed New Year.

From the Orofino Senior Citizens
