Dear Editor:

Friends, last week on Monday evening, or Tuesday morning, someone hit our mailbox on Upper Fords Creek Road, about four miles up. When we went out to get the mail we were surprised to see the post and mailbox laying on the ground.

Thank you to the mail person for putting our mail in it while on the ground.

We are not asking for the person(s) who hit the mailbox to repair the post, or pay for the repairs.  We would have liked the person(s) to just come forward to us and say you accidentally hit it, as I am sure no one would do this on purpose.

Thank you,

Julie Castle
