Dear Editor:

I’m writing this letter to urge voters to come out for Don Ebert on Nov. 6.

I was a State Rep for four years, State Senator for 18 years and seven years on Orofino City Council so I’ve worked with many people elected to serve. I can say Don is one of the best in serving his constituents as Commissioner of Clearwater County.

I’ve known Don since he was a young man and worked for our family owned logging business. I have always been impressed with his hard work. As commissioner he has the ability to put politics aside and do what is right for Clearwater County. He has spent many years building relationships with people throughout the State. For his 15+ years as a county commissioner, he has kept our County on an even keel financially.

Don always speaks from the heart and has the respect for the people and agencies he deals with on a daily basis. When speaking of accomplishments, Don emphasizes “we” and not “me” because he recognizes all good things are accomplished by working together.
