Our city is in competition with Orofino businesses. We pay taxes, which is what we should do, but in conjunction with the taxes, the city sells us water and if you or your renter doesn’t pay the bill, the city charges you again every month even after the water is turned off.
After a few months, unknown to yourself, your bill is a thousand dollars, even when no water has been used.
We probably should clean up our own act before we try to tell someone else.
