Dear Editor:

I was just thinking of something I remember happening 62 years ago this evening.

I was a young lad who had just celebrated his seventh birthday three days earlier. We lived out in Jingle Town and I was awakened by the house shaking! Hard to believe it’s been 62 years since the Yellowstone Earthquake!

I’m sure there are lots of people around yet who would have memories of that evening. Just thought I’d share my memory of that night.

Hope all the fires are getting under control! We are dealing with them also but we were blessed with over an inch of rain already today. Prayers being answered!
