According to an Idaho State Police (ISP) report, ISP responded to a non-injury crash on Monday, Nov. 4, on Highway 12 at milepost 45.9. at approximately 6:30 a.m.

A Miko LLC logging truck, out of Lewiston, driven by Alexander R. Province, 19, of Orofino, was traveling west bound on Highway 12 where he was negotiating a 45 mile per hour curve.

Just after the curve the truck’s bunk detached, causing it to lose its load of logs after it shifted, which blocked both lanes of travel.

Province was wearing his seatbelt. Once reloaded, the log truck was driven away from the scene.
