If you are looking for a fun, fast-moving activity to help shed some of those holiday calories, square dancing might be for you.

The Mountain Dew-ers Square Dance club will be starting Square Dance Lessons beginning on Saturday Jan. 11, from 5-7 p.m. at the Clearwater Valley Middle School (Kooskia). The lessons will continue on Saturday evenings until April 4.

Lessons are a 12-lesson series, with each lesson building on the previous lesson.

Beginning dancers will only be accepted through the third lesson (Jan. 25).

Mountain Dew-ers is a not-for-profit organization.

Suggested donation for each regular dance and lesson is $3 adult and $1 for 18 and under.

Contact Adam Izbicki at 208-512-2289 for more information.
