This week is National Family Reading Week. The theme this year is “Believe and Achieve”. It is so important to read with or to your child, whether you are a parent, grandparent, sibling, teacher or caregiver.  This week, stop in to grab a craft and a FREE book (one per child) as we celebrate Family Reading Week.

I want to thank all who attended our first Let’s Talk About It evening! We had a good turn out and our facilitator, Nancy Casey, kept the lively conversations going.  We will be hosting the second discussion, in January.  Stop in the library for more information.  I will continue to post updates as the time gets closer.

Our monthly display featured this month in the library is fossils and rocks from all over the world, courtesy of Julie West.  Stop in and check it out!

With the Holiday season quickly approaching and for those that utilize Amazon for their online shopping, please consider shopping at and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases to your favorite charity (Clearwater Memorial Public Library is an option).  Same products, same prices, same services at the Amazon you know.

We will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 25 – 26, for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
