It’s the last week of March, already! This week’s craft features at the Clearwater Memorial Public Library are some cute chicks in a garden of flowers. A perfect decoration for your Easter table. The cherry blossom wind sock was a big hit and we have only a couple more left.

Next week is National Library Week. Stop in during our open hours and check out a new book, or an old favorite. Monday through Friday from 10-12 for Seniors and 2-5 p.m. for the general public. We are hoping we can extend those hours in the near future.

Once again its time for THE BIG LIBRARY READ. The Art of Taking It Easy will be available for unlimited access (no wait list!).Written by Dr. Brian King, The Art of Taking it Easy, is a practical, yet laugh-out-loud guide to embracing humor to reduce stress and live a happier, fuller life. Available in ebook format, beginning April 5-19, check our home page, or Overdrive/Libby.

We have GED books and materials available, and eight Wi-Fi hotspots that may be checked out on a first-come, first serve basis for up to three days at a time. The hotspots are intended for borrowers to use them to pursue adult education and career development and advancement activities including on-line coursework. Borrowers will need to provide their Valnet library card, photo identification, other contact information, and complete a borrowing agreement. Borrowers must be at least 18 years of age.

We have four computer workstations dedicated for use of adult education and career development and advancement.  These may be used during normal library hours for up to two hours at a time. In addition, these computers will be available for extended hours on Monday and Wednesday evenings 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. by reservation only. Contact the library staff at 476-3411 prior to 3 p.m. Any cancellations for reservations during the extended hours MUST BE DONE by 4 p.m. on the same day as the reservation!
