Library news

Tails and Tales is the theme for this year’s Clearwater Memorial Public Library’s reading program.

The Summer Reading Program is almost here. After last summer, we are very excited to be able to offer our reading program again at the Clearwater Memorial Public Library. This year’s theme is “Tails and Tales!” Registration begins on Monday, June 14 and continues through the the last week of July.

Once you’ve signed up, you can begin! Stop in the library anytime to sign up.  We are open 9-6 Monday through Friday and 9-2 on Saturdays.

At registration, you will set your reading goals for each level: how many minutes, or how many pages you will read each day, or how many books will you read in a week.

At that time you will also receive a T-shirt and a free book of your choice.

You will have seven weeks to complete four levels, a minimum of 5-7 days per level required. At completion of each level, you will receive a themed craft and a free book of your choice.

Our focus is on fun and to encourage a lifelong love of reading!

The camper craft is still available this week. This will be the LAST weekly craft until fall.

We have WiFi hotspots available to check out and use for three days. Inland Cellular coverage areas only.
