The Clearwater Valley Fire District Auxiliary’s (CVFDA) Family Feud Bowl-a-thon fundraiser which took place Sunday, Nov. 7 at Riverside Lanes was a big success and enabled CVFDA to meet their goal of raising funds to help our local firefighters and fire victims.

A big thank you to all the bowlers who showed up for an afternoon of fun and also to everyone who participated in the successful silent auction.

We also thank all the area business and community members who made donations for bowling prizes and the silent auction. CVFDA also extends a huge thank you to Riverside Lanes for opening their doors to us for this event.

Don’t forget CVFDA’s fundraising drawing for some great prices with the drawing at the March CVFDA meeting.

Tickets are $1 each or six for $5 and are available for purchase at P1FCU, LCCU and Banner Bank.

CVFDA holds its monthly meeting the first Thursday of each month at 12 p.m. at the Fiesta en Jalisco Mexican Restaurant and everyone is welcome.

We are always looking for and welcoming new members in our ongoing quest to support our firefighters and fire victims.

The mission of the CVFDA is to provide support, promote and aid for all the fire districts of the Clearwater Valley by engaging in fundraising activities which enable financial distribution to the fire districts helping with much needed equipment purchases.

CVFDA is also available during fire incidents to help supply food and beverages for the crews as they battle our area wildland and structure fires along with supporting area fire victims in their immediate time of need.
