The Friends of the Library are answering the call for more sales of gently used books, especially during our cold winter stay-inside season. This group of avid library supporters (Friends of the Library) has made plans to hold semi-monthly sales in their meeting place, the Clearwater Memorial Public Library Annex.

The book sales will be held on the second and fourth Fridays of the month, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.  The annex is directly behind our newly remodeled library, and there is plenty of parking in the new parking lot as well in the alley adjacent to the buildings.

This new program of book sales will be held for the next couple of months in order to gauge our reading patrons’ interest, and if successful, the sales will continue. These opportunities for getting some great books for winter reading at bargain prices begin on Friday, Jan. 14, at 10 a.m. Tell your friends and plan a fun morning of browsing and buying a sack full of books, then spend what you saved by going to lunch!
