Sheriff Chris Goetz provided a report from the Sheriff’s Department to the Board of Clearwater County Commissioners at their Oct. 5 meeting. He gave an update on the recent missing Orofino man Jon Walton.
Walton has not been located after extensive searches and surrounding property. Several search dogs, ATV’s, horses, ground searchers and Back Country Medics with a helicopter have been used in the search.
Juvenile Detention/Misdemeanor Probation Director Alana Curtis presented the Memorandum of Agreement to Support the Community Based Alternative Services (CBAS) Program and The Substance Use Disorder Services (SUDS) Program by and between the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections and Clearwater County.
The Board approved and signed the Memorandum of Agreement.
Clerk Carrie Bird presented the Levy Certification Correction for Southwick Cemetery Web L-2.
The Board approved to correct the L-2 from Southwick Cemetery.
Clerk Carrie Bird presented the Inland Cellular Account Authorization Credit Application.
The Board approved and signed the Credit Application from Inland Cellular.
Clerk Carrie Bird presented the letter to the Board for signature on the Elk River Recreation District to correct clerical error and failure of publication of complete budget.
The Board approved and signed the Elk River Recreation District Letter.
Attorney Trapper Stewart presented the Summary of Ordinance for Restrictions on camping and placement of property in the County Right-of-Way, Restrictions on Use and Obstruction of the County right-of-way.
The Board approved and signed expense and payroll claims.
There were five executive sessions held to discuss indigents and personnel that are exempt from disclosure.
