Road Scholar--Cassie Bansemer

Local Highway Technical Council (LHTAC) presented Road & Bridge Administrator Cassie Bansemer (center) with the Road Scholar Level 1 Award. The Board of Clearwater County Commissioners approved and signed the Letter of Support to Clearwater Soil and Water Conservation District for the Rhodes Creek Road Rehab/Upper NorthFork Clearwater River at their July 9 meeting.

The Board held aP&Z update with Bobbi Kaufman.

Road and Bridge employees Cassie Bansemer, Dave Holland and Pam Jones reported on the road work. The Board approved to remove the load limits on Grangemont and Wells Bench Road.

The Board approved and signed the acceptance of LHRIP Grant.

Megan Kautz from Local Highway Technical Council presented the Road Scholar Award to Administrator Cassie Bansemer.

The Board approved to appoint Marie Armitage as a Fair Board Member.

The Board convened as the Board of Equalization for the final decision and actions.

The decision was made to uphold the Assessor’s values as presented on the parcel known as RP37N03E277802A, RP35N04E325400A, RP38N01W277211A, RP35N04E142450A, RP35N04E310001A and LR35N04E325400A.

The Board of Equalization approved the request to adjust the values of RPA0625001007AA, RP34N04E094100A, RP35N02E116601A, RPA0950014021BA and RP35N02E124100A. The BOE adjourned; the BOCC reconvened for the session.

The Board approved and signed expense claims.

June 2018 expense claims were approved and ordered to be paid in the following amounts: Current Expense-$27,857.00; Road & Bridge-$7,079.20; Ambulance-$2,727.95; District Court-$2,420.73; Consolidated Election-$11.66; Justice Fund-$16,627.18; Drug Court-$1,482.97; Social Services-$17,505.36; Parks and Recreation-$140.30; Revaluation-$1,967.24; Enhanced 911-$69,805.14; Solid Waste-$13,838.06; Weeds-$1,250.96; Waterways-$460.93; Dent Bridge Trust-$44.74; Insurance & Grants-$26,392.06; Disaster Declaration-$14,061.26; Court Trust-$73.50. Total expenses for June were $203,747.14.

There were two executive sessions held to discuss indigents and personnel that are exempt from disclosure. Present were Chairman Don Ebert and Commissioners John Smith and Rick Winkel.
