Tim Marks with Mutual Financial met with the Board of Clearwater County Commissioners at their June 17 meeting to discuss the Gem Plan, Government Employees Medical Plan which is County employee health insurance. Marks showed the Board Statements of Net Assets, Revenues, Expenses, changes in Net Assets and Statements of Cash Flows.

Juvenile Services Director Alana Curtis met with the Board to give an update in her Department. The Board approved for Curtis to order a new laptop for her employee.

Road & Bridge Rudy Knapik, Ted Brown and Britnnie Payton gave an update on the County Projects.

Solid Waste Department employee Pam Jones gave the Board an update. The water spigot at the Transfer Station is fixed. The Board approved for Jones to receive a cell phone.

Clerk Carrie Bird met with the Board to get approval and a signature on the SAM Entity Registrations. The purpose of the letter is to formally appoint an Entity Administrator for each named Entity and to attest to the accuracy of the information contained in the Associated Entity Registration. The Board approved and signed the SAM Entity Registration.

Michelle Bly, Regional Manager/Principal for TD&H Engineering met with the Board to discuss the ADA/Fair Housing updates. The Fair Housing Assessment is completed. The Board received a binder on Fair Housing.

Treasurer Dawn Erlewine discussed a new lease contract with Mail Finance for the Postage Machine Renewal. The Treasurer’s office will receive a new Series Postage Machine. The Board approved and signed the Renewal Contract.

The Board approved and signed expense and payroll claims.

There were four executive sessions held to discuss indigents and personnel that are exempt from disclosure. Present were Chairman Rick Winkel and Commissioners John Smith and Mike Ryan.
