Sheriff Chris Goetz provided a report from the department at the Board of Clearwater County Commissioners’ Nov. 8 meeting. The Recycle Building was discussed. Sheriff Goetz needed approval for ordering material for the new maintenance shop. The Board approved on Sheriff Goetz ordering material for the shop.

Clerk Carrie Bird presented the Official Canvass of Ballots from the Nov. 2 election. The results were reviewed. The Board approved the Official Canvass of Ballots.

The Board approved and signed expense claims.

October 2021 expense claims were approved and ordered to be paid in the following amounts: Current Expense-$58,763.82; Road & Bridge-$579,102.11; Ambulance-$17,038.97; Consolidated Election-$13,198.91; District Court-$1,334.38; Justice-$45,164.71; Interlock & Electronic Monitor-$132.00; Drug Court-$397.00; Social Services-$26,587.79; Junior College Tuition-$150.00; Parks and Recreation-$236.58; Revaluation-$1,050.30; Enhanced 911-$3,381.69; Solid Waste-$31,729.84; Current Expense Tort-$36,817.00; Weeds-$2,765.59; Waterways-$85.07; Amer. Rescue Plan CFDA-$45,030.00; Dent Bridge Trust-$49.74; Insurance and Grant Trust-$310.00; Odyssey Trust -$2,089.00; Sex Offender Reg. Fee-$40.00. Total expenses for September $865,454.52.

There were four executive sessions held to discuss indigents and personnel that are exempt from disclosure. Present were Chairman Rick Winkel and Commissioners Mike Ryan and Vince Frazier.
