The Lord’s favor will last a lifetime. Why not do all you can to be that perfect person growing in forgiveness and faith? Perfection is great, but no one is perfect. God puts imperfect people in our lives so we may grow in faith and mercy. All the tough times we experience show that glory God has in store for us.
Pastor Howard continued his sermon on Mark 4:11. Jesus spoke to the Twelve in parables. He told them the secret of the Kingdom of God has been given to them. God has in his mind to save everyone. He is a loving father who loves us personally and wants us to be saved. 2 Peter 3:9-20 says the Lord is not slow in keeping his promise. He is patient with you and wanting everyone to repent. He is expressing an effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with himself. Remember that our Lord’s patience means salvation.
Another scripture referenced was Romans 10:9-13. Confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him for the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and it’s with your mouth that you confess and are saved. By following God’s word the results will change your life. We have a choice. The secret of the Kingdom is out there, let us hear it and accept it.
Walk the walk.
