Do you know what the parable of the ten virgins means (Part 8)? Last week we found that Jesus is the Door and whoever enters in will be saved (John 10:9 KJV) and He is inviting all of us to enter in (Revelation 22:12-21 KJV).
Also, the parable said when He, “the bridegroom, came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut” (Matthew 25:10 KJV). The wise virgins went in while the door was open but the unprepared foolish virgins went to buy, and returned to find the door shut. What does the shut door mean?
The Bible says, “We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man” (Hebrews 8:1-2 KJV). That man is Jesus and He is working in the Most Holy Place in the heavenly sanctuary atoning for our sins. We, on the other hand, should be busy on this earth doing a work of revival and reformation in our lives and sharing the everlasting Gospel (Revelation 14:6 KJV) and sighing and crying over the abominations openly going on before us (Ezekiel 8:1-9:4 KJV).
Why? Because we are in the judgement hour (Revelation 14:7 KJV).
The Bible says, “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick [living] and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom” (2 Timothy 4:1 KJV).
Currently, the dead are being judged, but soon the judgment moves to the living. No one knows when, but the Bible says, “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God…” (1 Peter 4:17 KJV).
So God’s people will be judged first and this is why the foolish virgins came back and the door was shut and pleaded “…Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not” (Matthew 25:10-12 KJV).
Friends, Jesus is the Door and He’s inviting us in but one day that door will shut and no one can enter in (Revelation 15:8 KJV). None of us can delay our decision for Him.
